We received confirmation today that the first co-op registered under our new Model rules is Neen Sollars Community Hydro. The model rules have been adapted from Baywind model rules, proved on a succession of successful wind co-ops since 1997. The new rules are specially designed for smaller renewable energy co-ops across the technologies and we already have three more in the process of being registered – 2 solar co-ops and one biomass, with more in the pipeline.
